RESCUE
We have 3 rescues at an affiliated kennel (pictures below):
1) Handsome boy Smoke, a 5.5 years old purebred XL American Bully with no papers. He was rescued from abandonment by our affiliated kennel. Smoke was in a crate for so much of his puppyhood and early adulthood that he developed difficulty walking and was significantly underweight. Unfortunately, this also has affected him psychologically so we do not recommend a home with another intact male and he should be kept away from canines that behave aggressively, as he is likely to return the aggressive action. Smoke is a good companion and can be a good inside-the-house or yard dog. As this breed has short hair with no undercoat, to live outside all the time he would need an insulated and heated dog house, and if that is needed we have a great contractor who can do this at minimal cost. A lot of hard work went into Smoke’s rehabilitation. His asking price is $200 (two hundred).
2) Thor, about 4 years old brindle Bully Dog male (meaning dad is a purebred XL and mom – an APBT). He is sweet to humans and female dogs, and actually Smoke’s son. He should get along with neutered males well, but will likely be instigating fights with an intact male. He does not get along with his dad and they should not be in the same home. His asking price is $100 (one hundred).
3) Sweet wonderful APBT female, brindle Bully Dog male’s mom. She is past puppy-bearing age and would love to be someone’s house dog. No behavioral problems have been observed with her, she is as sweet as it gets.
